Abstract

Creation of painting under the subject of “Dharma and Time” is in a range of

Thai tradition by relying on a story and symbol that contain hidden teaching of the Lord

Buddha in order to express deeply affected feeling via clear traces of figure. Fracture and

decomposition that were caused by a natural deterioration bear a symbol of time related with

the Dharma. With a specific technique of painting creation, contents and form, the work is

mainly designed for people to appreciate the truth and core of the Lord Buddha’s teaching.

I have conducted this paper in support of my work which will help illustrating and clarifying

procedures of the creation.
