Why?Major reasons

• Reduce the need for remediation

• Decrease length of time spent in developmental courses

• Increase success in graduating or transferring

• The goal is to encourage students to stay the course.

Free tutoring services for all registered RCC students –Primary areas of coverage are math, writing and science however,

tutors are prepared to cover most subjects!

Peer Tutors

• 10 hours of training for Level 1 certification

• Must maintain at least a 3.0 GPA

• Must have recommendation from Instructor in

Discipline they will tutor

• Work with Professional tutors

On-Line Tutoring

eTutoring Services The eWriting Lab allows you to submit a draft of your paper to a tutor, ask for specific feedback, and receive a tutor's response within 24-48 hours.

Live Tutoring via eChat allows you to meet with a tutor in one-on-one tutoring sessions via a fully interactive, virtual online environment. Live sessions are offered in every subject.

eQuestions allow you to leave a specific question for an eTutor, who will respond within 48 hours (but usually sooner).
