The Africa Energy Series: Equatorial Guinea 2018 report follows 2016's AES documentary film on the petroleum sector. Designed to be the most com-prehensive report ever published on Equatorial Guinea's energy leaders, resources, main actors and future po-tential, AES Equatorial Guinea 2018 is an essential tool for investors and an important milestone in the nation's de-velopment as an energy powerhouse for Africa. AES Equatorial Guinea 2018 launched on May 10, 2018, at the AOP Investor Forum in London and cele-brates Equatorial Guinea's 50th an-niversary of independence. The book is accompanied by a commemorative edition book presented to the Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons.
EQUATORIAL GUINEA2018
The Africa Energy Series: South Sudan 2017 investment report, produced in partnership with the Ministry of Petro-leum of South Sudan, features inter-views with South Sudan’s leadership and with private sector entrepreneurs, information on all the major actors in the energy sector, and resources including exploration maps. In Africa Energy Series: South Sudan 2017 we examine the conditions for doing busi-ness and investing in East Africa’s most established oil play. The book was pre-sented at the AOP 2017 conference in Cape Town and at the South Sudan Oil & Power 2017 conference in Juba, which marked the first ever energy and infrastructure conference held in South Sudan.
SOUTH SUDAN2017
Africa Energy Series is a series of documentaries and reports that ex-plore the energy industries of African petroleum exploring and producing countries. Produced by Africa Brand-ing Corporation, these investment reports and 30-minute programs provide a complete portrait of each country’s oil and gas sectors via the perspective of its government leaders and industry professionals. Each book and documentary brings the industry to a life through a combination of one-on-one interviews, expert analysis, im-ages and stunning aerial footage of oil and gas facilities in operation.

EQUATORIAL GUINEA2016
This upcoming AES film deals exclu-sively with Nigeria’s gas-to-power ini-tiatives. From indigenous producers of gas in the Niger Delta to government reformers, financiers and independent power project operators, Nigeria’s ener-gy sector is undergoing a pivot towards gas. The utilization of this national re-source heralds a new period of indus-trialization if projects can be brought on-stream and tariffs made attractive enough for gas and power producers and users. The documentary includes interviews with private sector execu-tives; plus analysts and experts from Ni-geria, the US, South Africa and the UK; and feature interviews with the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Dr. Emmanuel Kachikwu and the Minister of Power Babatunde Fashola.
The first Africa Energy Series docu-mentary focused on Equatorial Guin-ea. Like many of its fellow petroleum exporters in Africa, the country is working to reverse systemic declines in oil production by bringing online new discoveries and encouraging more ex-ploration. Equatorial Guinea is also di-versifying the energy industry through large-scale gas developments and petrochemical projects that capitalize on its abundant natural gas reserves. Before the end of the decade, Equa-torial Guinea will become Africa’s first country to launch a deepwater floating liquefied natural gas terminal when it completes the Fortuna FLNG devel-opment. “Africa Energy Series – Equa-torial Guinea” aired on CNBC Africa in November 2016.

Africa Oil & Power landed in London for the first time in 2018, on May 10. At the Africa Oil & Power Investor Forum, the continent’s leading executives, policy makers, financiers and legal and advisory experts came to-gether for a compelling one-day program. Program highlights included: 2018 investor and project updates from Atlas-Oranto and Ophir Energy; panels on capital raising, local content and gas-to-power; and ministerial keynote speeches from the ministers of pe-troleum of Equatorial Guinea and South Su-dan. Our special report on Equatorial Guin-ea’s oil and gas industry, commissioned by the Ministry of Mines and Hydrocarbons in the nation’s 50th year of independence, was launched at the Investor Forum.

AOP heads to Luanda in 2018 to host Ango-la’s Elite Energy Event. Officials from the Min-istry of Petroleum and top industry leaders will explain and discuss the strategic vision of Angola’s government under new president João Lourenço and expand on the invest-ment potential in this deepwater-focused sector. Supported by the Government of the Republic of Angola and national oil company Sonangol, the conference will be a vital meet-ing place for government officials and the private sector in one of Africa’s most prolific petroleum producing markets.
ANGOLA OIL & POWER2019
2017 was a momentous year for South Su-dan, with the country making strong progress in securing and growing its oil production. A pro-business administration and a proactive Ministry of Petroleum makes investing in East Africa’s legacy oil producer more attractive than ever before. South Sudan Oil & Power 2017, the nation’s first ever energy and infra-structure conference, assembled 450 nation-al and international actors in Juba in October 2017. The second edition of South Sudan Oil & Power, in 2018, promises to be even bigger and better. See you in Juba for East Africa’s most important oil and gas gathering,
