How do I recommend a student for ESL?
Check LEP status• Make sure student is not already classified as LEP.
Recommendation form• Available in your packet or on my webpage
Monitor student progress• Continue monitoring student progress during placement process
Placement decision• Typically, a
placement decision can be made after two nine-weeks grading periods.
