An Augmented Reality Training Environment for Post-Stroke Finger Extension Rehabilitation

• Finger extension impairment is common among stroke survivors.

• We use augmented reality and a body-powered device to build a training environment for reach-to-grasp.

• Pilot data showed acceptance of the device and improvement in standard functional tests following training.

• The environment has the potential for tele-rehabilitation uses in the future.
