Improve the health status of all people in Kosova through introduction of modern information and communication technology.

Provide in three phases:

1) Clinical tele-consultation, (doctor to doctor, institution to institution),

2) Education, (e-library, continuing medical education, distance learning),

3) Research & Development.

Phase I: Establishment of TCK headquarter, connection of all

UCCK clinics, International collaboration,

Phase II: Establishment of Telemedicine branches in regional

hospitals, E-library, Training of human recourses,

Phase III: Connecting of primary care services in Kosova in one

Virtual Private Network, (family medicine, mental care, private clinics).

E-Library with 2,500 online journals, books and articles, (8.000 users in the first year),

Training Room with 24 computers connected to LAN (24.000 users in the first year),

Auditorium (75 conferences, 56 live broadcast operations),

Medical videoconferences with international medical centres (EU and USA).

Pilot project in Peja hospital, European Computer Driving License (training in

computer literacy), Preparation for joint venture with European

Space Agency, Preparation for connecting all regions in Kosova

including minority areas, Building up first Medical Information Highway in

Kosova.
