CISD SHOWCASE #introtocisd
The CISD Showcase is an opportunity to visit a “live” CISD classroom! Come see our recommendations for classroom set up as well as our best practices live in action. The Showcase is located in the Cafeteria and will be open all three days.
SHOWCASE HOURS: Monday 8:45 AM - 4 PM Tuesday 8 AM - 3:30 PM Wednesday 8 AM - 2pm
Classrooms are divided by Secondary, Elementary, and Special Education. We encourage you to walk through ALL of the rooms, regardless of what
you teach. You will see examples of classroom management structures, get some great ideas for your classroom, observe lessons and demonstrations,
and even get to hear words of wisdom from our own CISD students.
Take pictures to preserve the experience and reference at a later date!
Visit the various tables dedicated to our specialty areas to increase your knowledge about ALL that CISD has to offer to grow the whole child.
Helpful Hints for the Showcase • Download a QR Code Reader on your phone or tablet before you
visit the Showcase. • Take a pair of complimentary earbuds as you enter the Showcase. • Take-away cards are available in all areas to add to the direction card
you have in your bag. • Write your name on the back of your tickets and drop them in the
“Win Me” envelopes of your choice to win the display/material. You may drop them in any envelope you choose!
• Prizes will be drawn @ 3:30 PM on Wednesday!!! You must be present to win.
