Anniversary Park Public Consultation We need your input! Please plan on attending an informal discussion about
Anniversary Park on Monday, 17 June at the AV Park Splash Pad. We are
seeking your ideas on ways to improve your park and discuss any related issues.
If you are unable to attend, please provide input to recreation@oromocto.ca. If
you have children, please invite them as we need their ideas also! The rain date
will be Wednesday, 19 June.

Our Department offers a quality child-care programme for children Kindergarten to Grade 5. The DC operates
from 7:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Nutritional snacks and special activities are planned in accordance
with our weekly themes. A maximum of 30 children per week will be accepted with preferences to those
registered for the entire summer.
Fee: $105 per child/week The Camp will operate 24 Jun – 30 Aug (except holidays)
PAYMENT FOR ALL SELECTED WEEKS MUST BE PAID TO SECURE SPOT.

Fire Survival Camp (Ages 10-12 years)
This fun-filled week will be packed with exciting and interactive activities that will focus on safety, including
many different areas featuring: hiking, fire safety, water safety, basic first aid training, navigation, search and
rescue, and many more exciting adventures along the way. All youth will be provided with a “safety survival
kit” full of tools that will be used throughout the week. Max. 20 youth. For more info, please contact Jennessa

Dragons Judo Club & Recreation Oromocto – Multisport Camp (Ages 6-14 years)
Some of the sports will include: Yoga, Judo, Canoe-Kayak, Ball hockey and Baseball plus activities like
Swimming and Dodgeball. You don’t need to know any of these sports because it is a place to learn new skills.
Develop basic sport abilities such as agility, balance, fexibility, speed, power and core strength.
Dates: 22-26 July & 12-16 August Fee: $200/ week or $360/ 2 weeks Family Discounts available.

Participants will take part in singing, choreography and acting as well as other activities. Instruction provided by
Derrick Paul Miller, Helen Mórag McKinnon and Lynn Mills. From the Canadian Opera Company to off
Broadway musical tours, singer Derrick Paul Miller will offer his expertise in music, dance and staging. Lynn
brings her great accompaniment talents and music teaching while Helen brings a wealth of acting and singing

Individuals wishing to become registered in the program are asked to provide the Pesticide (Unit) Program Officer with all relevant contact information that in turn can be distributed to all landscape pesticide application operators. For more
