Leadership Team DescriptionsLead Team - Elders & any others needed to sit at the table to

make macro decisions for the church.Lead Pastor - Elder who leads the day to day operations of

the church on behalf of the Lead Team through the various Coordinators.

Administrator - Executes and oversees all administrative efforts. Serves under the leadership of the Lead Pastor.

Coordinators - Coordinate the various Team Leaders under their leadership. Serves under the leadership of the Lead Pastor. Example - “Creative Arts Coordinator”

Team Leaders - Lead the ministry efforts of their specific team and team members. Serves under the leadership of their Coordinator. Example - “Band Team Leader”

Team Member - Serves under the leadership of their Team Leader to perform the ministry of their team. Example - “Band Member”

Band - The band practices weekly & leads the worship music during the Sunday Gathering. "

Audio/Video & Decor - The A/V team and the Decor team work to make everything sounds and looks good during the Sunday Gatherings.

Greeters - The greeters are the first line of welcoming both LJC guests and family on Sundays. Greeters are in the parking lot, at doors, and at the welcome table.

Food - The food team provides coffee and snacks weekly for the Sunday Gathering. This aids in creating a warm, welcoming, and inviting environment.

Trailer Hauling - As the name suggests, the haulers pick up and return our trailer each week so we can enjoy the worship environments we use on Sundays.

Set Up & Tear Down - The set up team shows early to get everything ready and the tear down team stays later to get everything back into the trailer.

JourneyKids - Our JK volunteers serve the birth - 5th grade aged children at LJC. JK teams include: check-in, nursery, preschool & elementary. Email rachel@lifejourneyva.com.

Community Groups - CG leadership includes hosting and leading our CG’s. CG’s are the backbone of our church as we seek to be a church of and not simply with CG’s.

New Neighbors - This team helps connect new families in Crozet to LJC.

Guest Follow Up - This team serves to connect with each guest who attended a Sunday Gathering.

Faith Family Weekend - This team organizes our membership weekends.

Finance Team - This team serves to count and deposit money and coordinate with our third party bookkeeper. Email finances@lifejourneyva.com.
