This resource can be used as an activity to jumpstart discussions
about the working world that kids see every day. What jobs and
professions do they see in their communities? What do they see in
their future career path? What opportunities are there for them? It’s
never too early to start thinking about college and career choices.
Page 1: Ask students to circle and label which jobs they see people
in their community doing on a regular basis.
Page 2: Color the page. Students can also add their own details and
labels to the jobs they see.
Page 3: A page for students to use their imaginations and
observational skills to fill in the scene with people in different
professions.
