    4/2/2016 - JOINT BASE ANACOSTIA-BOLLING, D.C. --The Concert Band andSinging Sergeants are preparing for a 12 dayspring tour, followed immediately by anAirmen of Note nine day tour. The two groupswill reach a wide variety of audiences inArkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee,and Texas.

    All of these units share the same mission: tohonor those who have served, inspire patriotism and service, and positively impact the globalcommunity on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the United States of America. They each goabout this in their own unique ways.Read more »

    4/2/2016 - JOINT BASE ANACOSTIA-BOLLING, D.C. --The U.S. Air Force Bandand its official chorus, the Singing Sergeants,is pleased to offer "Musical Immersion"programs for select Embassy Adoptionclassrooms as part of its growing partnershipwith Washington Performing Arts andWashington, D.C. Public Schools.

    As part of these immersion programs, singersand instrumentalists from The U.S. Air Force Band will visit selected Embassy Adoptionclassrooms throughout the school year and teach students to perform their partner nation'santhem in its traditional language. As professional vocalists who regularly perform for military,civilian and international leaders, the Singing Sergeants are uniquely qualified to bothperform and teach students in the many languages represented by the Embassy AdoptionProgram.Read more »
