This is a skyscraper for actors, performers, or just theatre loving people. The tower has a skin that functions as a space frame, commonly seen in performance and concert stages. This will allow the building to have a show of its own and may even have billboards similar to street feel of time square. There is also an LED outdoor theatre for movie screening. The form of the building is from a series of sketches and digital models with the concept of the theatre (the skin) which moves the audience (the

fl oors and site).

charleston, sc

This is an Urban Design team project. The goal was to design a neighborhood in Charleston, SC isolated because of the edge of two highways. The solution we came up with to reconnect the site with Charleston is to bring clean industry such as vertical farming and creating an urban farming community. The urban plan included a community market under the overpass, civic buildings, farmer housing, urban farming

school, research facility, and the vertical farms.

This project is a response to the earthquake in Haiti. The building is formed to resist strong winds and earthquakes. Other features also include bamboo curtain walls and gabion walls. The main function is to teach disaster affected children on basic fundamental knowledge and how to rebuild Haiti and how they can teach other students in need for education. It also functions as a meeting place for the community and for public lectures and classes. There is also a dormitory for students without homes. The facility takes advantage of passive systems to keep the building cool and collects rain water for clean water.

Lacoste, France

A Medieval Archaeological Research Museum, located inside an old stone quarry in Lacoste. The lime-stone that was in the quarry was used to build the historic medieval city of Lacoste, thus making it an appropriate site for a museum and research. The windows protruding out of the building is oriented for ideal views around the quarry. The walls of the quarry act as a natural structure that holds the fl oors up

from the ground of the site

This is a residential skyscraper that lies at the edge of historic downtown Savannah. The form is from a series of sketches of how the site will help defi ne the skyscraper’s structure. The south facade of the skyscraper mostly open and has screen structure for vegetative walls that blocks the summer sun re-ducing heat gain. The idea is inspired from terracing and the abundance of vegetation crawling in the

walls of historic Savannah.
