Armenian Agricultural Consumer Cooperativesin
Vayots Dzor and Tavush
With the support of OXFAM Armenia and BSC Business Support Center, in the second half of 2012 active farmers of Azatek, Zedeaand Gomk communities in Vayots Dzor region, as well as Sevkar, Tsaghkavan, Haghtanak and Archis communities in Tavush region established agricultural consumer cooperatives.
The strategic directions for the cooperatives development include:
- horticulture
- cattle breeding
- agribusiness development
- joint marketing process
