Limited edition prints by William Dey are available in two options:

1) A signed and numbered edition of 75, with a small number of proof pieces, printed on 100% rag paper using special archival inks. Image size is 12 x 16 inches on 16 x 20 paper, and matted to fit a standard frame size of 20 x 24 inches. Prints are signed and numbered in pencil. The retail price is $950.00 for the main edition, and $1050.00 for the proof pieces.

2) A signed and numbered edition of 50, with a small number of proof pieces, with the image printed on an acrylic panel using special archival inks. Image size is 22.5 x 30 inches on a same-size panel, with hanging hardware attached to the back side. Prints are signed and numbered in ink. The retail price is $1250.00 for the main edition, with the proof pieces being offered for $1350.00.

Each of William Dey’s limited edition prints comes with a signed certificate of authenticity, listing the piece number, year of release, and additional limited edition information.

The world, as seen through the camera lens of William Dey, is a reflection of incisive visual observation. Dey has a gift for composition, an innate awareness of which visual elements must remain in order to complete the image - and the discipline to remove all that is extraneous. This is evident throughout his work, be it the thunderous silence of the barren desert in winter, his stark juxtapositions of life in Palm Springs, lush reflections on the glory days of Detroit design, the chic and structured tableaux of Dey's fashion photography, or his innovative and revealing portraits.

When creating a photograph, Dey looks for the angles - both literally and figuratively. He constantly seeks a means to observe the world from the edges, to record unnoticed the moments that comprise the narrative threads of our being, or of our having been. His hands may hold the camera, but Dey's interest is not in becoming part of the picture, nor in influencing the outcome. His sole purpose is to allow each thoughtful, artistically composed image to fully manifest itself and then to speak its own unique truth.
