Congratulations – Your course has been accepted!

Now what?

Preparation is Everything

“Proper prior planning prevents poor performance!”

- Walter Davis

Do the Following

Start with the course description Build a course outline Review / edit it until it gels Start writing / editing / building slides Plan for proofing and rehearsal

Manage Your Time

But how?

Realize the Following

Multiple, short work sessions - good. A few, long cram sessions - bad. Give yourself time to think! Think – write – think – edit – repeat. Practice – edit – repeat.

Know the Audience

Meeting their expectations will earn you higher speaker ratings.

They are smart, busy, motivated people - so:

Move along quickly. Give them tips, how-to’s and tricks. Give them info they can use – now! Give them a unique experience. Put yourself in their chair.

Making it Simple

“Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler.”

- Albert Einstein

Answer these questions:

What confused you? What information helped you most? What is the best order to use? What are some real world examples? How can you use simple English?

Get Ready to Succeed!

Get your plan in place and start working the steps. December will be here before you know it!

Plan to bask in the Knowledgeand Fun!
