In Northern Ireland there is conflict and fighting because of

religion.

Catholics want Northern Ireland to join with Ireland to make one country.

“UNITED IRELAND”

Protestants want Northern Ireland to remain a separate country, and part of the United

Kingdom.

In the poorer areas of Belfast, the Catholics and Protestants have to be separated by high

fencing to prevent fighting.

It is NOT like this in all of Belfast or Northern Ireland
