• OPTIC Keynote Speakers are the absolute best in the industry. 2015 had Art Wolfe, 2016 had Michael Kenna and Paul Caponigro.

• This year, we have Brooks Jensen who brings the high end fine art clientele that have supported Lenswork magazine since 1992 to OPTIC. Brooks has counselled thousands of photographers on ways to find and follow their own creative path.

Jeff Mauritzen National Geographic photographer and naturalist Jeff Mauritzen traveled to Africa, South America, and the Pacific on assignment photographing wildlife for the Society's Animal Encyclopedia. His adventures have immersed him in vivid landscapes on all seven continents and in more than 60 countries around the world. Whether capturing 360-degree panoramas of wildlife along an African savanna or photographing sharks in the Pacific depths, Jeff’s work expresses an unwavering passion, respect, curiosity, and awe for the natural world.

Allison Wright Alison Wright travels to all regions of the globe documenting the human condition for editorial, commercial and non-profit clients. She was also named a 2013 National Geographic “Traveler of the Year”.

Ralph Lee Hopkins As the founder and director of the Expedition Photography program for the Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic alliance, his work appears regularly in publications such as Arizona Highways, National Geographic, Nature's Best, Outside, and Outdoor Photographer. He also travels to the world's wild places for more than 25 years and has photographed expeditions from the Arctic to the Antarctic and points in between.
