Broadcast means it is published by electrical methods, instead of the older methods, such as printed newspapers and posters.
Broadcast include radio, television, and recently, the Internet.
What is Mainstream Media?
Mainstream media is news programming that is expected to provide fair and unbiased facts.
Examples: CNN, Fox News, ABC News, CBS News, NBC News
Non-mainstream media is news programming that is expected to express an opinion.
Examples: Bill O’Reilly Show, Sports Center, Larry King Show
Tabloid media is programming that exaggerates facts, considered more entertainment than news
Example: National Enquirer
