This time it all has do

with writing, specifically with illustrated writing like the monks of old used to do to doll up the religious tracts that they had to copy per hand before Gutenberg came along. Or maybe to give the illiterate peasants some idea of what the religious writings were all about. Whatever, this volume has to do with my attempts to develop a somewhat modern form of illustrated manuscript writing, using Cyrillic texts

- incidentally the Cyrillic alphabet was invented in the 10th Century AD by order of the Bulgarian King at the time in order to make the Bible available to his people. The Bible in ‘Old Bulgarian’ laid the foundation for the modern cyrillic alphabet used in Bulgaria, Russia and so on.
