EDUCATION IN BULGARIA IS COMPULSORY FOR THE STUDENTS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 7 TO 16.

THE SCHOOL YEAR IS DIVIDED INTO TWO TERMS, STARTING ON 15 SEPTEMBER AND ENDING IN MAY OR JUNE.

Academies and Institutes Specialized higher schools offer

training and research in one or more areas of science, art, sport and defense. The name of the specialized university indicates the main set of subjects in its curriculum.
