of parts and materials. • Attain additional vehicles.

Achieving Goals For 2014-2015

• To develop staff operations, continuous in-services will be implemented. (*Region 1)

• To enhance the work order system, constant weekly meetings with Maintenance crew leaders will be executed.

• Weekly meetings will be fulfilled with the inventory clerk/dispatcher to expedite the ordering & receiving process of parts and materials.

• More vehicles will be attained through meetings with the D.I.S.D. Chief Financial Officer.

Work Orders

Work orders are the key aspect of communication between the Maintenance Department and each D.I.S.D. campus and department. Communication is essential to

ensure the upmost comfort for our students and staff.

What are “Duplicated Work Orders”?

•Duplicated Work Orders are two or more submitted work orders referring to the same content.

The Misconceptions of Duplicated Work Orders

• If I submit duplicated work orders, then the issue will be addressed in a more timely fashion.

• If I am to submit duplicated work orders, then more attention will be drawn to the issue at hand.

• Duplicated work orders will allow for the

issue to be assigned to a corresponding

employee earlier than expected.

The Reality of Duplicated Work Orders

• Work Orders will not be addressed any faster, and duplicated work orders will only cause adversity.

• Duplicated Work Orders only bring animosity to employees.

• Work Orders are prioritized …– (Heating & Cooling, Electrical, Plumbing, and

Graffiti.) *Other Work Orders may fall under daily operations for upkeep of buildings.

The Process of Work Orders

1. A Work Order is first submitted.

2. Eduphoria will then assign a reference number which is imperative.

3. A Work Order will be prioritized & assigned to a respective employee.

4. Lastly, one will Refer to a specific reference number with any concerns, & contact The Maintenance Department via email.

Work Orders Overall

• In retrospect it is now clear that by following through with this process, Maintenance Administration can follow up with assigned personnel and corresponding Work Orders. Campuses and departments will now have enhanced communication with the Maintenance Department for the most upkeep.

Thank-You• Your cooperation with the Maintenance

Department is greatly appreciated. Communication is key for the upmost comfort of our students & staff which ultimately results in the best possible educational environment for our Donna Independent School District students.
