Every year our baseball team would be a part of Challenger Little League. In this League we would teach the game of baseball to those kids who are mentally handicapped.
Our team manager, Carl, was mentally challenged and participated in the Challenger Little League and this year us seniors came up with something extra special for him to do. We let him hit during an actual game.
The best part was that they enjoyed playing the game as much as we did, and sharing that with anyone is a special experience.
