23 - 009Present Achievements, Problems and Perspectives Associated witha Semiempirical Study of the Al–Cu–Mg–Si–Zn Light Alloy System.— Key experiments for the improvement of the thermodynamic descriptionof the system mentioned above are identified. A review of the main featuresand models is presented. The use of more physically realistic models forthe representation of multicomponent systems is discussed.
