What you believe drives everything! People need to know what they
believe, and why what they believe matters. In January, we are
embarking on a Church-wide 30-week journey called Believe. We
want people of all ages to be able to answer three driving questions:
What do I believe? | What should I do? | Who am I becoming?
Join us as we learn together how to think, act and be like Jesus.
The kick-off for the Believe journey is January 24th.
Along with this Church-wide journey, Small Groups will be
starting back up the week of January 24th. There will be a Small
Group Gathering during the fellowship meal on January 17th.
This will be a great time to get more information about small
groups and meet some of the small group leaders.
New One Call and Text Messages
We have a new system of communication. It will
show up as #402-519-5657. Unless the church
office is told otherwise, you will receive texts instead
of phone calls
FOR OUR LADIES
Moms in Prayer What if you could change the world — not just for today, but for generations to come? Moms in Prayer International (formerly Moms in Touch) believes that a mom can be the single greatest force for good in the lives of her children and the children around her…lives and whole communities are changed forever when moms gather together to pray. Moms can make the difference — moms just like you. A new Moms in Prayer group will be meet- ing on Tuesday mornings at 9:00 a.m., beginning January 12th. We will meet in room 135; moms with children at home are welcome to bring their kids along to play while we pray. Our meetings will be approximately 1 hour long and are open to any moms from the surrounding area, including different schools and ages of children. Feel free to pass the word and invite other like-minded moms to join us! If you have any questions, call or text Monica at 719-568-1697 or joyfulmj@hotmail.com.
Ladies’ Book Club will meet on
Monday, January 25th, at 7:30 p.m. to talk about the next book, Realer Than Real by Ryan Wilkins.
Painting Party Join us on January 20th
at 6:00 p.m. Deena Schultz of Leap of Faith will guide us through the process of painting a Cross picture. All you need to bring is yourself and maybe a friend. She has everything we will need. It will be a fun filled evening. No matter your artistic level she will bring out your best! Plan on attending. The cost is $35.00, but we do have money for Scholarships. She has room for 30, so get signed up early!
A New Bible study will be starting
January 28th at 7:00 p.m. Struggles by Craig Groeschel. This is a 5 week study, meeting at the church. All ladies are invited to attend.

Music Room. All worship team members are encouraged to

With the new year upon us, I can’t help but think of fresh starts and new begin-
nings. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage all the adult men at
CCCC. Each one of us is called to be a spiritual leader in our home, in the work
place and in our sphere of influence. This is a big responsibility. I believe that
we, as men need to be in the Word of God more then ever before. We need to
be in God's word on a daily basis. It's also important that we study the word with
other believers.
I'm reminded of Proverbs 27:17: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” As we study the
word together, we are able to edify and encourage our brothers in Christ.
On behalf of all the elders, I would like to encourage all adult men to come to the Men's Breakfast/Bible
Study on the second Saturday of every month at 8:00 a.m. We are studying the book of James. This a fun
time of fellowship and a great opportunity to study the Word of God together. For more information, please
contact Rod Smith at 402-469-2394.
May the Lord richly bless you and your families this year,

Budget, bylaw revisions, and elder and ministry team leaders. All CCCC members who are 18 years old or
older are eligible to vote at the ACM. Absentee ballots will be available at the Welcome Center beginning on
January 3, 2016 for those unable to attend the ACM.
In preparation for the ACM, we will have information meetings on January 10th and January 17th, at 9:30
a.m. in the fellowship hall. During the information meetings, we will be available to answer questions
regarding the budget, proposed bylaw revisions, leadership ministries, and the upcoming fiscal year.”
C4 Student Ministry News
C4 will not be meeting on December 27th and January 3rd. We
are taking this break for Christmas and New Year’s. We know that

the students (6th-12th grades) there.
On February 7th, there will be a C4 SUPER BOWL PARTY. All
students (6th-12th grades) are invited to come and bring a friend.
The start and finish time for this party will be announced later.
