MT
By equipping the power plants with the optional MHX or with compressors in parallel, we can equate, also in hot climates, the performance of the transcritical cycle with that of traditionally efficient systems such as the cascade system.
MHX It reduces the outlet temperature of the cooler gas and minimizes the amount of gas generated in the container, improving the performance of the average compressors and the efficiency of the system. It is more efficient than the compressor itself in parallel, but requires an external cooling source (new freon or retrofit machine, chiller, etc.). EHX In case of suffering a heat wave, with abnormally high outside temperatures, it allows the unit not to decrease its refrigeration performance. Like the previous option, it requires an external cold source.
We also recommend the use of adiabatic gas coolers and Spray System
SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR WARM CLIMATES
OPTIONAL EXCHANGERSMechanical/ Emergency Heat Exchanger. They keep the plant at its optimal operating point when the ambient temperatures are high.
LOW TEMPERATURE GROUPIt covers the freezing needs. Equipped with oil system, connections for gas cooler and all the necessary protection and safety elements.
MEDIUM TEMPERATURE GROUPCovers the cooling needs and allows the operation of the LT group. Equipped with oil system, connections for gas cooler and all the necessary protection and safety elements. Includes CO2 container that, depending on the model, can be remote.
PARALLEL COMPRESSIONImproves the performance of the MT compressors, eliminating the charge of the flash gas by-pass and improving the efficiency of the system. Especially suitable for hot climates.
OPTIONAL EXCHANGER INTERNALRecommended in installations with large distances between the plant and the evaporators. Prevents the presence of flash gas in the liquid line.
SWITCHBOARDIntegrated and easy to use by touch screen, it shows an exclusive control software (Rack and Duplex models).

DUPLEXThe FULL Duplex exchanges offer the highest power for the commercial cold range with CO2 in 2 MT and LT temperatures.
They are double-deck transcritical cycle booster machines, which reduces the space required for assembly while ensuring modulation and operational reliability thanks to the number of compressors they house.
Optionally it can include up to 3 exchangers and 1 parallel compressor.

Tewis GZ models have a battery developed to withstand the high demands of transcritical CO2, the range includes: copper battery, aluminum fins, body in steel sheet with galvanized painted in the oven; of horizontal installation and Ø 560 and 630 mm fans. PS 120 bar.
Available in axial and radial versions, both with EC technology as standard.

HEAT RECOVERY / GENERATION
They protect the compressors of medium temperature against the high temperatures generated by the low compressors.
They are aerocoolers with a battery designed to withstand a PS 60 bar avoiding the maximum loss of fluid load. They can be arranged in a horizontal or vertical air flow.
Capacities from 4,5 to 50 kW

Systems against power cuts. The entire FULL range incorporates an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that will allow the electronic control unit and its devices to prepare to shut down the system safely.
If the lack of supply persists in time and the pressure of the liquid container rises too high, the emergency equipment will come into service which, with independent connection and connected to a generator set (not included), will allow to maintain stable the pressure of the unit.
Double function of the parallel compressors. In case of including the optional of parallel compression, in case of failure of some compressor of average temperature, these can attend the services of MT avoiding the stop of the system.
Electronic valves back pressure and gas flash. Each of these valves can include, for safety, another pressostatic valve in parallel ensuring its operation even in cases of emergency (Option).
Valve with electric actuator. This valve allows that in the event of a failure in the electronic control unit or any of its components, the refrigeration unit continues to operate electro-mechanically without interrupting the service. (Optional equipment of the units).
All CO2 refrigeration systems generate high discharge temperatures, which is an excellent source of heat from which you can take advantage. Working in a transcritical cycle, in fact, the discharge temperatures easily exceed 100ºC, and in the subcritical cycle, 60ºC. That is why from Tewis we propose to use this inherent energy to the facilities and take advantage of it in the form of heat for services such as ACS, air conditioning or other annexed industrial processes. The optional RHX uses a heat exchanger plate thermoweld located in the discharge of the refrigerating unit and that, through electronic control, can transfer the heat of discharge to a secondary fluid. The RHX system uses a proportional three-way valve that maintains the outlet temperature of the exchanger constant. Depending on the associated parameterization from the electronic control, the exchanger can work in these modes:
Heat recovery: the RHX recovers the heat produced by the plant, without altering its operation in any way.
Heat generation: if the heat recovery is insufficient, the RHX will interact with the regulation of the discharge pressure to increase the heat production.
Heat generation plus: without demand of cold there is no generation of heat, therefore, in this last option, the generation of cold in a support evaporator is forced to generate heat.

In Tewis we also work with the range of industrial products, which include the most powerful cold machines, designed for machine rooms of large establishments, as well as for logistics, storage or any other industrial process that may require generation of cold above 250 kW of power.
We develop customized projects that use refrigerants such as CO2 or NH3 in different configurations.
The most innovative solutions of Tewis are included in the GM Full family with which, in addition to the cooling in MT / MT + LT, the air conditioning services are taken care of. All this using only CO2 as refrigerant for the installation.
The GM FULL Duplex are great machines for high powers, while the GMpack FULL represent the most compact version for this technology.
The combination Cold + Air Conditioning is especially optimal for supermarkets and franchises since they have great demand for both services and this ensures greater efficiency when interconnecting both cycles.
