• Heat Recovery Ventilation • 95% thermal efficiency • Low energy EC fans• Versatile unit positioning • 10 speed digital control • Internet connection• Off the shelf delivery
The indoor climate is of the utmost importance as most of us spend the greater part of our lives indoors. To ensure comfort and a sense of well-being, the air we breathe must be clean, and also be at the right temperature and humidity level. To most people, this is so self-evident that they do not give it a second thought.
Whatever the situation, Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) solutions from Airflow can play a significant role because they help create a healthier living and working environment, while contributing to the reduction of a building's carbon emissions and energy usage.
Unique to the Duplexvent Flexi Line is the ability to position the unit on the floor or in a ceiling suspended position. Also this universal design allows the unit to be installed as either a left or right hand version.
This provides exceptional flexibility for designers in the specification phase and gives contractors the opportunity to locate the unit in the optimum position. Similarly HVAC distributors benefit from a range of “off the shelf” air handling units which can be quickly adapted to fit on-site. No more bespoke orders with long lead times!

Features (counter-flow)
Features (cross-flow)
The housing is manufactured from painted sheet metal incorporating up to 50mm thick polyurethane insulation (in accordance with EN1886) which improves the soundproof-ing of the unit and avoids thermal bridging. This also helps increase the unit's efficiency and hygienic standards (VDI 6022 certified).
Duplexvent units are equipped with ultra efficient, easily removable counterflow heat exchangers which transfer warmth from the outgoing waste airstream into the incoming fresh air and provide up to 95% thermal efficiency. At no time does the stale air mix with the fresh supply air unlike in rotary heat exchanger systems.
Low energy, maintenance-free EC fan technology ensures long life and lowest possible energy usage hence it reduces the energy consumption and the carbon footprint of the building.
To ensure a healthy indoor atmosphere at all times, Duplexvent units incorporate high grade F7/F5 supply and exhaust air filters which also protect the heat exchanger against harmful particles hence increasing the interval between planned maintenance. The filter status is monitored by built-in pressure sensors in order to maintain ultra hygienic standards at all times.
The units also have a 100% summer bypass facility which is controlled automatically by temperature sensors to isolate the heat recovery function during the summer season. This helps to effectively cool the inside air without having to use expensive and energy hungry air conditioning systems.
The unique interchangeable spigot design allows the spigot connections to be changed on site (DV1600). Alternatively the positions of all spigot connections can be arbitrarily determined on Blue Line units. This will give installers the flexibility to connect the ducting to the unit from different directions which will reduce the number of duct connections and save on installation time.

Duplexvent Commercial Heat Recovery units are delivered with a choice of manual or digital controls providing complete functionality of the units and their accessories.
Duplexvent units incorporate an Internet server that uses Modbus TCP/IP protocol to provide a connection between the ventilation unit and the internet via a standard plug & play ethernet cable.
This allows you to monitor and control the unit from a laptop via the internet or a local area network. The unit can also be monitored remotely by technical service which saves time and cost on service processes.
