Company Profile

ADAS

• Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, or ADAS, are systems developed to assist drivers to control their vehicles and enhance their safety

• ADAS provides real time alerts such as lane-departure warning, distance alerts, pedestrian and bike riders alerts and other road hazards in order to prevent accidents

• Most ADAS come in the form of embedded hardware and software which is already installed by the car’s manufacturer. Others can be installed by the customer

Case Study –Autonomous Braking System

• USA - The National Transportation Safety

Board (NTSB) aims to compel the auto

industry to install an advanced system, which

interferes automatically if the driver does not

hit the brakes on time and prevents accidents,

especially in urban areas*.

• Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) is an

independent breaking system that uses two laser

sensors, a radar and/or camera, which detect a

vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist in front of the car.

Whether the driver does not hit the brakes on

time, or he does not press the brake pedal hard

enough to avoid collision, the system activates

the brakes or intensifies the operation artificially.

• According to NTSB, in 2014, 1,700

people were killed and half a million

were injured in front-back accidents in

the US alone. NTSB estimates that over

80% of these accidents could have been

avoided or occur with less severe results

if the vehicles were equipped with the

AEB system. The Safety Board applies

to the US government to compel the

auto industry to install the system as

soon as possible.

Case Study –Autonomous Braking System

• Europe - The Euro NCAP has set a new minimal standard required in

order to obtain the maximum five-star rating in crash tests held by the

organization: starting from next year, automakers will be obligated to install the

AEB system in every car, otherwise the 5-star rating will not be provided.

• According to the research conducted by the organization, cars equipped with

AEB system, which slows the vehicle down or stops it completely as required,

even if the driver does not perform any action, are involved in 38% less front-

back road accidents compared to the cars that are not equipped with such

system**.

From Military to ADAS Technology

• MAGNA, technology developer and 100% owner of 4eyes, provides its technology to a wide range of large organizations and companies, among them: Israel Defense Forces, International Ben-Gurion Airport, Israel Prison Service, the Israeli Police etc.

• MAGNA also markets its systems to the international markets -Japan, Russia, Singapore, Mexico and more.

• 4eyes is based on a military oriented technology, the fruit of 12 years development process, which is adapted to civilian use.

The market today – using a single camera

• Most existing technologies rely on cameras and

sensors installed in the vehicle

• These technologies provide alerts by using 2D

motion sensors -indications of dangers detected

in front and rear parts of the car

• MOBILEYE (NYSE: MBLY) with market value of 12.5

billion dollars, uses a single view camera and an

image sensor that provides incoming video

frames and image which are processed by a vision

system on a cheap.

• AWACS system ,developed by SDS, combines a

single camera and radar system installed at the

forefront of the vehicle.

• Both systems use a single camera and lack the 3D

image that can only be achieved by our unique

camera technology & algorithms.

• Founded by Mr. Haim Siboni (entrepreneur and CEO) and Mr. LevyZruya (Chief Scientist and founder)

• Developed a passive optical radar to support drivers by providingpre-crash alerts, range estimation and wide field of view

• 4eyes technology is based on advanced algorithms and 3Dtechnology intended to provide a better and more accurate solutionthan existing systems

• The company has recently completed the development of herDistance warning system prototype
