Computer Lab Rules

General Rules

• Walk in silently• Raise your hand if you have a

question• Help each other if you can

Take Care of Equipment

• Keep cords out of your mouth• Don’t push buttons on computer• Don’t stick fingers into the

computer• Be respectful of the computers and

the lab. The computers are not toys.

Before You Come In…

• Use hand sanitizer • Leave gum, candy, food and drinks

outside

If You Have a Problem

• Ask a neighbor if they can help you• Raise your hand and wait silently

for the teacher

When on the Internet

• Ask a teacher before you go on the Internet

• Stay on approved websites• No E-Mail or Chatting

When It’s Time to Go

• Close out of all programs• Hang headphones up on monitor• Push in chairs• Line up silently

Consequences

• 1. Verbal warning• 2. Losing computer privileges• 3. Note to teacher and to parents• 4. Sent to the principal’s office
