Success Criteria Students will be successful if they can:1) Arrange the words to construct correct sentences.

Learning Objectives At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:i) Arrange the words to form a sentence in group.ii) Expand the notes to form 5 simple sentences individually

Activity/ Procedure Activity 1 and 2Set Induction

1. Students play ‘ Lets Shake Hand’2. Some students are given the cards containing the subject and some

students are given the cards containing the verb.Ali Reads

3. Students circulate to find their partner who suits each other.4. The students shake hand and sit down with their partner.

Main Activity1. Teacher distributes the task sheet to every group.(jumbled up words)2. Students rearrange the words to become a correct sentence in their group.

(every group may have different task)3. Students write the correct answers on the white board.4. Discussion5. Students combine the sentences to form a paragraph. 6. Students copy down the paragraph.7. Teacher distributes the second task sheet.8. Students need to expand the notes given using a simple sentence.9. Teacher circulates to check students’ answer and marks the students’

answer10. Teacher provides homework to the students.
