Culture… Values…What does this mean to MEG?

Most companies have Core Values and many stick with motherhood statements including Integrity, Teamwork and Ethics. These are all important qualities, but we want to look at Core Values a little differently to stand out from the crowd.

What makes us different from other companies? Who are we? What do we care about, and who do we want working for us?

Corporate culture is the shared values, attitudes and standards that characterize employees within a company and define its nature.

Culture is rooted in a company’s goals, strategies, structure and approaches to maintaining respectful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Defining Values…Leaders and employees at MEG have been asking for a set of “Core Values“ to help our people get aligned on what we expect from our teams. Here’s why:• A shared set of values forces employees and

leaders to be accountable for their behaviour and business decisions

How did we get here?It is important to look at the past, present and future to capture the fundamental values that guide our day-to-day actions. Through stakeholder sessions, research, conversations and observations it has become clear what keeps MEG employees motivated and engaged. These are our 5 actionable, Core Values that our leaders and employees will consistently use to make decisions and guide behaviours.
