adults experiencing some barrier to employment

• 400+ hours of culinary and job & life skills instruction

Curriculum includes :

• Knife Skills

• Five Mother Sauces

• Commercial Equipment Use

• Culinary Math, including recipe conversions and measurements

• ServSafe Food Handler Certification

• Job & Life Skills

• Job placement assistance

• Nutrition Education

• Second Harvest Culinary Training Program supports the

WHOLE PERSON approach versus just “how to land a

job”.

• Individuals applying to the program are asked to “Please

check any services you may need help”

• Mater’s Level Social Worker

• Track students’ progress and milestones for one year after

graduation
