The First Baptist Church in Downtown Jacksonville is a historical site. It is located on Beaver Street, a few blocks down from Hemming Plaza. The structure is modelled after gothic-style churches in Europe.

An artist displays her paintings at the Art Walk epicenter of Hemming Plaza. Her paintings include a variety of different themes, such as nautical, Mediterranean and Walt Disney-based visuals.

Numerous booths are arranged throughout Hemming Plaza. These booths mostly display handmade or foreign art, accessories, crafts, trinkets and fashion pieces. Vendors at Art Walk take this opportunity to showcase their work and sell to customers.

While a live band plays their original music in Hemming Plaza during Art Walk, a small group of yogis put on their own performance in front of the musical set up. The band consists of a drummer, a pianist and a guitarist, who is also the singer.

Synsha Fashions Motique parks their fashion bus in Downtown Jacksonville during Art Walk, across from Hemming Plaza and right in front of the library. The interior of the bus includes a wardrobe, while a tent is also set up outside for customers to look and shop.

The Greenleaf & Crosby Building sits a few blocks from Hemming Plaza. The doors are metallic and gold, and are etched with engravings and designs. It is a historic site in Downtown Jacksonville, and is located on North Laurel Street.
