Delegate Apportionment Calculations

To apportion congressional district delegates, the results of the election (vote totals) are compiled for each Tennessee congressional district.

Then for each district: Candidates with under 15% of the vote do not earn delegates. Candidates with 15% + are eligible to earn delegates. Vote share is recalculated using district vote totals to compare the delegates that have 15% and more only to each other. Delegates are awarded proportionally based on that vote share.

Congressional District One

Step 1: Candidates under 15% are ineligible to receive delegates from that congressional district.

Candidate Votes Vote Share

Joseph R. Biden 12,420 38.46%
