Reflection• Looking back at my work over the course of my taking design studies, I can

see that my abilities have grown and my designs have become more complex. Going from a boxy cabin to a complex and odd shaped Two story home is an example of not only becoming more skilled with the program used but also becoming more creative with the projects as well. Looking back at some of my projects I begin to wonder why I made some of them the way I did (like the tree house). Design 10 was the start of a unstoppable craze to put a Rolls Royce in every revit project I was able to, and When rendering for the projects at least one had a Rolls Royce in the image. My overall thought process for my projects has gotten more complex and more detailed when I start my project. I also tend to think more about how I am going to approach it rather than just jumping in with no set ideas.

Skills Gained (reflection)• As I have progressed over the years, I have learned many skills more

advanced than just placing walls and a roof. In revit I have learned a substantial amount, including the creation of dormers, components, complex roofing, custom wall sweeps, custom textures, electrical plans, building codes and many other useful skills to make my projects more complex and overall better. With inventor I have retained a number of skills as well (although some being pretty basic), skills such as extrude, revolve, sweep, mirror, constrain, plane creation. With these skills I have learned to create more complex things (such as the tiger 2), just by using the tools in conjunction with each other to create a more complex shape and design. With sketchup I learned skills that are very similar to that of inventor and used them in a very similar fashion to achieve a final product with my projects.
