Project: Magazine Layout
PURPOSE
To understand how typographic hierarchy and grids can help provide coherency to a multi-page document.
PROJECT
For this project, you will design and produce a magazine spread using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and
(as needed) Adobe Illustrator.
The subject/content of the magazine spreads is up to you. For the article content you can use Lorem Ipsum.

(Lorem ipsum is a pseudo-Latin text used in web design, typography, layout, and printing in place of English to
emphasis design elements over content. It's also called placeholder (or filler) text.)
PROCESS
1. Select a subject that speaks to you. Your design & layout should reflect the audience of your topic.
2. Source images to support your article. They can be from the internet, scanned from photos or magazines.

3. Setup your document with grid in InDesign as per the specs on page 2.

Article Headline
Sub Head
Author byline (you can use your name)
Minimum of 4 photos
2 callouts that highlight a special topic
