“ Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.” Psalms 1:1-3

Starting a Business on a DimeAt the close of 2012, credit is tight, jobs are scarce and layoffs are looming every-where. This might be the perfect time to start your own business. Just when you think the door has been closed, the door has actually opened for you. The door of possibility offers a unique opportunity. You can start a new business and you can take control of your finances, your time and make more money, this year!

The beauty of owning that small business is that everything that you do becomes a write off. It’s simple: The more tax deductions your business can legitimately take i.e. the products that you purchase for you and your family (these are products that you use to show and tell about the items you will sell or show), the lower its taxable profit will be. Also, in addition to putting more money into your pocket at the end of the year, the tax code provisions that govern deductions can also yield a personal benefit: a nice car to drive at a small cost, or a combination business trip and vacation. It is very simple and this is your entitlement as a small business owner.

DEVELOPMENT MINISTRIES

In FHTM, we only do two things; we gather loyal customers and build a team of others who are interested in doing the same. We show people how to make money on existing bills that they are already paying. We show people how to redirect their buying habits. We market products and services such as: cell phones by MODOFY, (with no contract), Dish Network, amusement parks, travel, golf programs, roadside services, Identify theft protection, TAXBOT (income tax preparation), XPRESS Optical, MyLife ID, ENVY Organic, True Essentials, home security and many more services. We are also in XOOM Energy due to the deregulation of gas and electricity. Warren Buffet stated, “The energy deregulation will be the largest transfer of wealth in history”. Warren Buffet is the owner of the Pampered Chef, a direct selling company that he purchased in 2002. There are over 100 legal tax deductions for individuals that have home-based businesses. We also have a free “Rewards Shopping Mall” that has over 10 thousand stores, such as Macy’s, Target, Walmart, Home Depot, Best Buy, and Staples just to list a few. You can receive discounts and also get paid for shopping online. In recent years, the country has gone from “brick and mortar to click and order.” What we are looking for in our business are not sales people, but people who are coachable and teachable with a passion to help others. You will get what you want, when you help others to get what they want. Until network marketing (direct sales) came along, many people traded time for money to provide linear income. Linear income is a fixed income tied directly to the amount of time spent on the job.

As J. Paul Getty stated,” I would rather have 1% of 100 people’s effort rather 100% of my own efforts. Getty was referring to leveraging your time through residual income – that is getting paid over and over for something you did one time. Some of the perks that FHTM provides are as follows: $700 towards a new BMW, $2000 a month for your mortgage payment and all expense-paid trips to the islands. For more information, call 301-219-1333 or go to our website at: www.fewallace.fhtmcentral.com. If you want something in life that you never had, you will have to do something that you have never done. Opportunities don’t go away, they just go to someone else.

God Bless,Francis & Yvonne

Recently, Yvonne and I formed a partnership with Fortune Hi Tech Marketing (FHTM) as private business owners. FHTM is a direct selling company located in Lexington, KY. FHTM is a willable, sellable and trustable asset. FHTM has offices in the United Kingdom, Canada and Puerto Rico.Avon is the #1 direct selling business in the world and they have been in business since 1886. Amway is # 2 and they have been in business since 1959. FHTM was founded in 2001 and is # 67 in the world.

When you’re totaling up your business expenses at the end of the year, don’t overlook these important business tax deductions to include car note, insurance, repairs, gas, mileage and depreciation, advertising, utilities, office supplies, and repairs; for entertaining present or prospective customers; travel cost of plane fare, rental car, taxis, lodging, meals, shipping business materials, cleaning clothes, telephone calls, faxes, and tips and credit to finance business purchases, as well as the interest and carrying charges are fully tax-deductible*.

There are many small business’ that you can start with little or no overhead, just to name a few: Dog Walker/Feeder – People go on vacation and many hate leaving their pets with a kennel due to the fact that their animals will be in unfamiliar environments. So, they hire animal walkers/feeders. Babysitter – You will need a license, but the overhead costs are minimal. Costume Character – Love kids? Love parties? Buy a professional costume and rent yourself out to attend events and parties dressed as that character. You can start with one but will soon want to expand your inventory.

Yet another way to start a business on a dime, so to speak, is to consider your hobbies. What is it that you most enjoy doing to the point where you would do it for free? What is it that you are very good at and can do it with relative ease? What are you the best at? How do you spend your spare time? If you can translate a current hobby into a legitimate business venture, it could be advantageous financially, mentally and otherwise. One would have to develop a smart business plan and keep meticulous records, but it’s definitely worth consideration. The ideal scenario is to line up your passion with your profession to achieve truly powerful results, and in essence, realizing your purpose in the business realm.

An alternative to starting a small business from scratch is to undertake a turnkey business and plugging in to their already established system. The business plan is already laid out and it is simply a matter of duplication, as opposed to creation and reinventing the wheel. When you consider low startup costs, network and/or direct marketing, a.k.a. multi-level marketing (MLM) is very popular these days. As a matter of fact, network marketing offers a wide range of options to choose from. In example, AVON** offers you a business opportunity by providing a broad range of quality beauty, fashion & gift products that you can sell with pride and confidence. We found Avon to be noteworthy because of the company’s longevity and a $10 joining fee. In effect, there you have it, a business on a dime.
