STARTINGWITHQUALITY. SPECIFICATION

The DSE3110 can be utilised as aManual or Auto Start Module forsingle gen-set applications andforms part of DSE’s nextgeneration of control modules. Themodule has been designed to workwith electronic and non electronicengines providing advancedengine monitoring and protectionfeatures.

The DSE3110 includes a backlitLCD display which clearly show thestatus of the engine at all times.Themodule monitors enginespeed, frequency, voltage and runhours and also displays thewarning and shutdown status ofthe engine.

Themodule includes six digitalinputs and four outputs. Two of theoutputs are configurable. Themodule can either be programmedusing the front panel or by usingthe DSE Configuration Suite PCsoftware.

Themodule is available in twovariants:Magnetic Pick-up andCanbus.

FEATURES• Back-lit LCD display• Remote start input• Electronic engine enabled• Magnetic pick-up• Full engine monitoring and

protection• PC programmable• Protected Solid State Outputs

(PSS)• 6 Digital Inputs• 4 Outputs (4 configurable on

Canbus version, 2 configurable onMagnetic Pick-up version)

BENEFITS• Hours counter provides

accurate information formonitoring maintenance andwarranty periods

• Multiple engine parameters aremonitored simultaneously

• Suitable for engine onlyapplications

• Module can be configured to suitindividual applications

• IP65/NEMA 12 rating offersadvanced resistance to wateringress

• No need for additional meteringequipment

• Wide range of engines can bespecified

• Uses the DSE Configuration SuitePC Software for simplifiedprogramming

OPERATIONMANUALMODE• The engine is started using the

Start button on the front of themodule.

• Once pressed the moduleinstructs the engine to initiate itspre-heat sequence and then startthe engine.

• To stop the engine the Stopbutton on the front of the moduleshould be pressed.

AUTOMATICMODE

• The Auto button needs tobe pressed to put the unit in AutoMode.

• The module start sequence isinitiated by the activation of theremote start input.

• The pre-heat sequence is theninitiated and the engine is started.

• To stop the engine the remotestart signal needs to be removedor the Stop button on themodule needs to be pressed.
