The Zabeel Park is one of the National parks in Dubai,

located between Al Karama and World Trade Centre at

Zabeel Square on Sheikh Zayed Road. Zabeel Park is home

to Stargate Dubai children’s amusement complex and

edutainment centre. It also contains wide open spaces,

adventure playground, play areas, covered areas for

barbecues, picnics, cafes and wonderful flora. We also got

an opportunity to visit Zabeel Park at the end of the week

13th Nov.2014 as school picnic was organized as part of

celebrations for Children’s Day which is celebrated all over

the world to promote welfare and wellbeing of children. All

across the world, different countries celebrate Children’s

Day. Children are the picture of innocence and everybody

loves them. This day is dedicated to them and everybody

tries their best to make children happy on this day.

Approximately 200 children and 15 teachers got a chance

to celebrate children day at Zabeel Park. It was a moment

of fun and frolic. We reached at Zabeel park Gate 1 around

10am. The entry fee for each student was 5dhs. The

children could not stop their excitement to enter the park

soon and enjoy in the play area, open space & breathe the

fresh air too…Pizza’s and juices were provided to children

on this special day from the school. Some children also

helped in clean up drive to clean the place. It was a great

day for all the children to celebrate their childhood and

memorize Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru first Prime Minister of

India whose birthday is being celebrated on this special day.

We arrived back at school by 1.15pm with thirst of water

and rest at the weekend.
