DY ~ 1.3 nb

Start with some numerical estimations on cross sections which to be measured with SPD

It is important to control and minimization the background to DY reactions.Also studies is very important and essential for SPD design development .

2) Kinematics range

2~ 4 9 /llM Gev c

Fermilab E866 30s Gev

Also BG studies is very essential to make a wider range on lepton pairs invariant mass, to enlarge statistics for DY reactions

The last 4 sources are important for

SPD design and optimizations

Present the preliminary list of main sources of background to be considered.

- K and π decays
