About the piece: Commissioned by Mike Fuller in 2012 for his Boomwhacker
ensemble. This piece has lots of lots of excellent learning opportunities for young
players, while providing beginning players with a chance to learn beginning music
theory concepts such as polyphony and compound rythms. The arranger has
masterfully perserved the original melody and harmonies while keeping the song in
C-Diatonic for school programs that do no own chromatic boomwhacker sets.
Performance Notes:
If you do not own 2 sets of 2 Octave Boomwhackers, then the 3rd Boomwhacker
part may be substituted out and the 2nd Boomwhacker part may be taken down an
and the piece may begin at measure 4.
