Effects of Child LaborDylan Hoang

Economy

Believe it or not, life today has changed tremendously compared to the previous years where society actually flourished. Now, there are children who are forced to work by their parents. The economy became so bad that the parents sold their children for money. Some parents don’t even care what happens to their children and they don’t even have a say to whether or not if they wanted to work or not. In some parts of the world, there are countries that also have child labor.

Population

1.2 billion people

Scientist predicts that by 2040, India will become the most populated country in the world.

With that many people, it’s no surprise that there will be a high demand for food and income, and when there is a demand for income, there will be a higher demand for workers.

In 2001, there were about 12.6 million children in child labor and that was between the ages 5-14.
