► The existing 7 km line within Noida connects the commercial hubs of Sector 18 to residential areas around Golf Course and Sector 32( City Centre) with central Delhi & beyond

► Existing line of Sector 32 (City Centre ) is being extended upto Sector 62 (NH 24). Also Botanical Garden is being linked with Janakpuri west to Kalindi Kunj line. The total length of these two lines shall be 9.9 km with forms part of phase III of DMRC.

► Investment of more than INR 1200 crores in various stages of deployment in augmenting substations, underground linking.
► All the substations proposed are state of the art with Gas Insulated system (GIS) system resulting in minimum faults and higher reliability

Water and Sewage- Adequate Planning
• Due to nature of hard water in Noida, Ganga water project launched in 2005 for citizens • Noida would be the 1st city to provide 100% ganga water to all the residents August
2014 • Focus on using surface water thereby conserving the ground water tables for next
generation • It is one of the few cities in India which boasts of higher water and sewerage treatment
capacity than the estimated demand

► Existing capacity of water treatment plant is 368 MLD and Sewerage is 218 MLD.
► The current capacity is adequate to meet demand for both water, sewerage treatment in Noida

Safety of their citizens is always prime concern for the Administration in Noida
► 7 new police stations, including dedicated women’s station and cyber
crime station each planned
► 5 new fire stations planned
► Deployment of higher number of police force, including over 1,600 constables proposed

Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS)
► ITMS is under implementation at Noida- Greater Noida Expressway
► The system aims at providing surveillance, reducing traffic violations and road accidents on the expressway stretch
► Components include emergency call boxes, incident detection, speed monitoring, weather monitoring and messaging signs

► An integrated city surveillance project initiated on for 20 sq Km of dense population area s in the city
► The project is in tendering stage
► Noida spending upwards of 100 crores for this project
► Components include street level security solutions, traffic management, integrated command- control center
► Objective is to reduce turnaround time in crimes, securing entry/ exits, faster access to evidences etc.

► 40 sectors in Noida allocated exclusively for industries during the planning stage
Initial allocation and focus for Industries
► Noida has base of 10,000 industrial units and presently 7,500 are developed and functional units
► Industry in Noida dominated by small & medium enterprises (SMEs) sector
► Noida provides employment for over 200,000 in the region from these industrial units
► Some large scale industries include- DS Group, Haldiram, HCL, Flex Industries, CSC, Nokia, Alstom, Honda, Moser Baer among others
