Beyond Per-Capita

“Per-Capita”• What is “Per-Capita”?

– A per-member-giving goal set by the Grand Exalted Ruler for fiscal year donations.

3

“Per-Capita”• Why is “Per-Capita” important?

– Lodges, District and States want to honor the GER’s goal.

– ENF Gratitude Grant is earned when the goal is reached.

– Some states use the goal for additional incentives.

Individual Donors

• Crediting donors for their giftsIt is critical to the ENF, and the I.R.S., that we thank and acknowledge our supporters.

Individual donors must be credited for their donations, unless otherwise promoted and understood at your Lodge.

Official ENF Remittances are key!

21

Official ENF Remittances

• A Remittance is form or report used to submit donations and donor information to the ENF.

• Only use ENF remittances!

22

Online Remittance Form

• Neater, more consistent remittances.

• Fewer errors and faster processing.

23

Annual Giving

• Annual giving and renewals: The Foundation strives for annual support from donors—the main objective is retaining these donors year after year. Renewing donors is critical to fundraising success.

donors. • Three-pin set coming October, 2016. • Mailed to Lodges quarterly for distribution:

– Donors who were new in 2015-16, and have give $10 or more in 2016-17.

27

Annual Giving

• Foundation Fellowship: Recognizes gifts within a fiscal year.

28

Annual Giving

• Leading to Loyalty Stickers: – Annual support grows ENF programs. – The Leading to Loyalty sticker recognizes

donors who’ve given for two to nine consecutive fiscal years.

– Encourage donors to proudly display the sticker on their membership card.

29

Annual Giving• Loyalty Club: The ENF Loyalty Club encourages and celebrates long-term annual support by honoring donors who give annually for 10 or more consecutive fiscal years. Membership is based solely on consecutive annual giving regardless of donation amounts.

30

Annual Giving

• Fidelity Club:Donors with recurring gifts to the ENF renew themselves. It is in the Foundation’s best interest to encourage membership in the Fidelity Club—an ongoing commitment to our mission.

31

ENF Fidelity Club

• More than 1,400 ENF donors have joined the Fidelity Club with a recurring gift—automatic gifts from a credit card or bank account (typically monthly).

• Chairs, and the ENF, no longer have to solicit annual gifts.

• Recurring gifts count toward personal giving totals and Lodge per-member-giving totals.

• Giving more than twice in one year=higher renewals the next year.

32

– Recognize donors for their generosity, both through ENF recognition programs and your own process!

– Presentations, newsletters, recognition boards…
