Recognize transition words and what they indicate (adding, contrasting, causation)
Be able to add or edit a sentence to make it a good topic, transitional, or concluding sentence in a passage

Determine the passage’s purpose first.
Be able to reword or reorganize sentences so that meaning is not changed, but passage is enhanced and is more clear.

Practice how to fix redundancy with rewording and/or eliminating extraneous words

Know the way the prompt is presented with three perspectives and how you have to address each plus form your own
Pace yourself wisely. Use prewriting to formulate a plan.
Proofread, edit, polish, check with last few minutes remaining.

Test #41. Do Now: Now that you have finished reviewing and mastering the fundaments and strategies, complete Test #4 in the ACT book (English sections only).
2. Then: Review the problems and see what you missed. - Take the time to review missed problems step-by-step. **It is essential to identify struggles with specific math problems and topics.
