Helpful information – for the submission
• get familiar with Electronic Submission Service (SEP) well before deadline
• ICPC: complete administrative form (part A – A.2.1 Partners; A.3.1.1 Budget) in
advance contact coordinator in time ref. registration information
• There is no 'pre-proposal check service' offered for the ENV calls, but:
• NCPs (http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/ncp_en.html)
• FP7 enquiry service (http://ec.europa.eu/research/enquiries)
• Help desk SEP (hyperlink….)

Important registrations: PIC, LEAR (Form A)
before even entering the SEP, you need to register at an earlier stage
(i.e. in time)
• PIC = Personal identification code
unique code, only one identification
• LEAR = Legal entity appointed representative
identified by the management can view all legal and financial
data online can ask for changes and corrections
• URF = Unique Registration Facility
Internal database: verification of existence and legal status of all
participants

- used in all grant-related interactions between participant & Commission
- If your organisation already participated in FP7 proposal organisation

( likely also has Legal Entity Appointed Representative (LEAR))
- All participants already possessing PIC: use to identify yourselves
in SEP
- After entering PIC: sections of A forms automatically filled in

Email address in ''add contact'' is vitally important – cannot be changed; if needs to be changed the partner needs to be deleted and re-added as the system is connected to ECAS (in case partner already has an ECAS account then automatic link up). all admin. forms for this participant are deleted - takes place right after coord. clicks on delete button
