university(point A) on the map) and you head left(south).You stop
at the second stop after university (point B) on the map) and you

2) The Athens Mall is located at Neratziotissa railway station (green
line). You take the bus(802 or 803 or 829) from the bus stop
outside of the university(point A) on the map) and you head

4) Ermou Street is probably the most popular place for shopping in
Athens. Is located near Syntagma‟s station (blue line).

FROM WHERE CAN I LEARN ABOUT THE STRIKES OF PUBLIC
TRANSPORTATION?
1) The first choice is to check the site of Athens Urban Transport
Organization (http://www.oasa.gr/?id=ind3ex&lang=en )
2) Second choice is to check an unofficial but very useful and reliable
site : http://www.apergia.gr/index.php
The site doesn‟t support English language so this is how you can
understand what you see:
ΕΘΕΛ=Busesgreen colour
ΗΑΠ=Railwaygreen colour
ΗΛΠΑΠ=Trolleys (electrical buses) green colour
ΜΕΣΡΟ=metro(subway) green colour
24ωρη=24hours
Strike maybe last few hours, for this case we have the following
example:
ΕΘΕΛ 11:00 εως 16:00 = The buses won‟t work from 11:00 till 16:00.
Notice: The site Athens Urban Transport Organization
(http://www.oasa.gr/?id=ind3ex&lang=en ) it will be a big help for you the first
