With the Lodge located within a 6-minute drive from downtown Fernie, there is no other venue that canprovidetheseclusionandmountainviewsyetalsobesoclosetothetown'samenitiesandhotels.TheLodge'svast centralhallwaywith cathedral ceilingsmakes fora trulymemorablewedding service. There isminimalneedfordecorationorpreparation;themagnificentviewsensureyourguestswillbeinawe.Withtheweddingservicecompleted,theLodgeoffersamplelocationsfortrulymemorablephotographs.Thebridalpartycanmovetoaquietareatocompletetheirphotoswhiletheremainderoftheguestscanmingleandcommencethefestivities.

EntranceHall

The Lodge`s entrance hall features a cathedral ceilingwith a largewelcoming reception area leading to animpressivecurvedstaircase.

UpperLanding

Theupperlandingisa550sq.ft.openareaunderthecathedralceilingsandhaswonderfulviewsoftheLizardRange. This area is perfect for wedding ceremonies with sufficient space for 100 seated guests plus extrastandingroomwithacentralaisleforthebridalpartytomaketheirentrance.

DiningRoom

In the central hallway we have an impressive hand-crafted dining table with wonderful views of themountains.Forourweddingeventsthisareacanseat60peopleandwhencombinedwiththeopenLoungewecanhostupto120guestsseatedatroundtables,witharectangularheadtable.Guestsareresponsiblefortableplacement,tablesetup,aswellasmovingtablesduringyourevent.

Guestshaveaccesstoourwell-equippedkitchen.ThereisalsoagasBBQavailableforuseduringyourstay.

LivingAreas

Thespaciouspublicareasincludealargelivingroom,entrancehall,largeupperlandingtoseatupto100,anda large games/meeting room. The Lodge also includes a sauna. There is a rooftop hot tub, which boastsoutstanding360⁰viewsoftheLizardMountainrange.ThereiscableTVandwirelessinternetwitha42"flatscreenTVinthegamesroom,aswellasastandardsizedpooltable.

WeddingServices

Ceremony

The ceremony is usually held upstairs or on the lawn, the dining is on themain level and those tables aremovedasideandthatroombecomesthedancefloor.Wehaveatableforthesigningneartheentrancedoororupstairsatthefrontoftheceremonyhall.TheLodgeisa'do-it-yourself'weddingvenueandwedonotprovideanydecorationsorassistancewithset-upforyourweddingday.Withthelodgebeingasbeautifulasitis,wefindthebestmoneyisspentongoodtablecentrepieces,especiallyfortheheadtable,andpossiblysomeflowersonthestairstotheceremonyhall.Ofcourseallcoupleshavedifferenttaste,sothedécorisuptoyou!

Catering
