Quentin Blake’s drawings are flat(2D : two dimensions).

In the animated movie,the characters are in 3D

(three dimensions).

They are puppetsmade and painted by hand.

All the sets and accessories were made especially for this movie.

There were 150 different

setsand 4000

accessories !

All the puppets were madein different sizes

and with different costumes.

Some puppets were 12 mm high, others were 50 cm…

In a stop-motion movie… … you arrange the set and the puppets, … you take a photo with a camera, … you make small changes in the

puppets’positions, … then you take another photo, … then you do it again, and again, and again…

… 24 photos make

film !It took one year to make Fantastic Mr Fox…
