Mr. Mally Likukela is the Managing Director of Twilight CapitalConsulting cc and a full-time lecturer at the Namibia University ofScience and Technology (NUST), where he teaches Economics.Previously, he was the Manager of Economic and Market Research atStandard Bank of Namibia and prior to that he was a Policy Advisor inthe Research, Policy and Statistics (RPS) Department at NamibiaFinancial Institutions Supervisory Authority (NAMFISA). Mr. Likukelawas also an Economist within the Research Department at the Bank ofNamibia and also worked in the Policy Research and Analysis Division.He worked as a Minerals Economist at the Ministry of Mines and Energy.Mr. Likukela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (majoring inResearch Methodology as well as Development and Planning Economics)and a Master’s degree in Economics (majoring in Monetary and FinancialEconomics). In addition, he also acquired several professional qualificationsin finance, banking, monetary policy and financial sector issues from theInternational Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank. He is currentlyenrolled for the Postgraduate Certificae in Higher Educaion (PGCHE)with the Namibian University of Science and Technology (NUST).Mr. Likukela participated in various commissioned researches rangingfrom banking to socio-economic topics and has authored several articlesin various media on various critical economic policy issues in Namibiaover the past years.
