•Building’s Horizontal Shape with hipped roof – characteristic of Federal style

•Asymmetrical façade with the door off center – Greek Revival

•Gabled dormers along the roof

•Dormers feature arched fan topped windows

Raub Hall

•Windows feature six over nine panes characteristic of the Federal and Georgian styles.

•Differences in brick texture and the width of the mortar indicates two different periods of construction

•Rectangular light over doors instead of the fan light typical of the earlier Federal Style

•Triangle pediment over the door and pilaster columns surrounding the door

Alumni Hall•Represents a transition from Georgian to Federal due to the vertical rather than horizontal focus for construction

•Nine over nine pane windows with sills that feature bull’s eye woodwork

•Two arched dormers in the roof with rounded arch windows and pilasters columns framing the windows

•Greek Revival porch to the right side of the building (probably added at a later date)

•Doric columns on the porch

•Both the main structure and porch feature a water table; that of the main building is made of stone and that of the porch is made of brick

•Defining Federal feature is the recessed door

•Round fan light•Sun-burst design in the most concentric circle•Column-like and bull’s eye woodwork around the door
